Terms of service

The agreement, in plain words.

Last updated 1 November 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Seamza when you use the app, the website, or the marketplace. By creating an account you accept them. Where we say “tailor” we mean any shop or fashion house using the workshop; where we say “client” we mean anyone ordering from a tailor through Seamza.

1. Your account

2. Plans and payment for Seamza

3. Money between clients and tailors

Seamza does not hold, transfer or guarantee money between clients and tailors. When a client pays a tailor, the money goes to the tailor directly, by transfer, cash, card or any method they agree. Seamza records the payment against the order so both sides see the same balance and can issue and keep receipts. A payment recorded in Seamza is a record, not a payment made by Seamza.

4. The marketplace

5. AI features

6. Your content

Everything you put in Seamza stays yours: your client book, your photos, your prices, your reviews. You give us the licence we need to store it, show it where you ask us to (your shop profile, a client’s order page, a review), and make backups. You promise it is yours to share and that it does not break the law or anyone else’s rights. Photos of other people need their permission.

7. What you must not do

8. Availability and data

9. Our responsibility

Seamza provides the software. We are not party to the contract between a client and a tailor, we do not make the garments, and we do not hold the money. To the extent the law allows, our liability to you for anything arising from these terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury, or anything the law does not let us limit. Nigerian consumer law still applies where it protects you.

10. Ending this agreement

You can close your account at any time. We can end it with 30 days’ notice, or at once if you break these terms in a way that is serious. Sections 3, 6 and 9 survive.

11. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. If we have a dispute, we both agree to try to settle it by talking first, then by mediation in Lagos, before any court. Courts in Lagos State have jurisdiction after that.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we tell you in the app at least 14 days before it takes effect; carrying on after that means you accept it.
